When I think about the partners who have truly grown with Unite for HER, Acure immediately comes to mind.
Unite for HER was founded in 2009. Acure was founded in 2010 by Jon and Kristy Guerra. From nearly the same starting line, our missions have grown in parallel, rooted in purpose, integrity, and a deep commitment to wellness. We were both born from personal stories and a shared belief that wellness matters, not just during treatment, but in everyday life. From the beginning, our missions felt aligned. At Unite for HER, we support those affected by breast and ovarian cancer through integrative therapies and education around clean beauty and ingredient transparency. Acure was built on that same foundation of purpose, transparency, and meaningful giving.
Our partnership began in a powerful way. Acure supported our Pink Invitational gymnastics fundraiser with 800 product samples for young athletes. It was not just generous, it was intentional. Young girls were learning early that what they put on their skin matters. They were introduced to clean ingredients, awareness, and empowered choices. Our community loved sampling the products, and it quickly became clear this was more than a one-time collaboration.

Then Acure made an even deeper commitment.
They named Unite for HER their philanthropic partner and pledged to donate 10 cents from every Brightening Day Cream and Brightening Night Cream sold nationwide, all year long. There were no limited-time windows or special codes. It was simply a genuine commitment to give back to a community that had helped inspire the brand’s creation. That authenticity meant everything.
Over time, our partnership grew into a friendship grounded in shared values. Acure began providing full-size products for fundraising events and became a consistent presence at our Wellness Days. Our beauty advisors would guide members through cleaning up their bath and beauty routines, helping them understand ingredient safety during treatment. Every woman left with a beautiful, full-size clean product to try. Our members embraced Acure’s generosity and often asked for more.
As Unite for HER expanded, Acure continued to stand beside us.
When we served 300 members a year, they were there.
When that number grew to 3,000, then 5,000, and now more than 10,000 annually, they remained committed.
They supported our Speaker Series. They participated in Ask the Experts. They stood with us as we expanded from our beginnings in Philadelphia to serving members in all 50 states. Through every stage of growth, their support never wavered.
Acure is the kind of partner every nonprofit hopes for. There is authentic alignment, shared values, and a sincere desire to educate, empower, and restore. Watching our two organizations grow side by side has been one of the greatest honors of this journey.
Their generosity and dedication have made a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve. I am deeply grateful for their partnership and proud to call Acure one of our cherished corporate partners.
Together, we continue to serve. Together, we continue to make an impact.
With gratitude,
Sue
