Hi! I’m Rachel, Acure’s Marketing Manager and resident skincare obsessive. If you follow us on Instagram or have read anything on the blog lately, there’s a good chance it came from me!
From Hormonal Breakouts to Glowy Skin—My Acure Skincare Must-Haves
Before joining the Acure team, I’d tried everything to help heal my skin. Like, everything. Luxury brands, drugstore finds, prescriptions, DIY hacks—you name it. I’ve had hormonal acne for years, and with it came the lovely souvenirs of scarring, texture, and dullness. I was constantly trying different makeup, switching routines, and feeling like nothing actually worked long-term.
Cut to today. I use only clean skincare. And for the first time in my life, I get compliments on my skin without makeup on.

Below are my tried-and-true favorites. These are the products I truly can’t go without. They’ve simplified my routine, cleared up my skin, and made me feel genuinely confident (a feeling I never take for granted). So here they are, my holy grails.
Brightening Facial Scrub
This was actually the very first Acure
I also love that it’s quick. No long mask sessions or complicated steps. Just scrub, rinse, and glow.
Glow Serum
This serum is magic.
I use the Glow Serum every morning after cleansing, and it gives my skin this healthy and glowy finish. It hydrates like a dream without ever feeling sticky or heavy (and I’ve got combo skin, so balance is key). I even mix a few drops into my foundation on drier days for a more natural, glass skin look.
Zombie Cell Clarifying Serum
My secret weapon for my acne scars. This serum has become my go-to for healing past breakouts and helping smooth out those stubborn little scars that hung around for way too long. I layer it under the Dual Phase Bakuchiol Serum at night, and over time, I’ve seen a noticeable difference in the texture and tone of my skin, especially on my cheeks and jawline, where my hormonal acne used to be the worst.
It layers beautifully with no pilling, and I love that it tackles dullness, fine lines, and sensitivity all at once. A little goes a long way.
Ultra Hydrating 12 Hour Facial Moisturizer
Finding a moisturizer that’s hydrating and breathable felt impossible until this one. It’s rich enough to keep my skin soft all day but never greasy or heavy. I use it morning and night, and it plays well with everything—serums, SPF, makeup, you name it.
Also, the way it calms my skin after a breakout or exfoliation is a huge win.
Invisible Sunscreen Stick SPF 50
Living in a beach town in California means SPF is a daily must, and this stick makes it so easy. I swipe it on my face, neck, and even my chest before heading out the door. It’s clear, smooth, non-greasy, and has zero white cast, even over makeup.
Hot tip. I’ve started using it on my décolleté before a night out for a subtle glow. It gives that hydrated, almost highlighted look without any shimmer or sparkle. Obsessed.
Dry Shampoo – Dark Hair
Okay, this one’s technically not skincare, but it’s one of my go-tos. I’ve always struggled to find a dry shampoo that doesn’t leave white residue and isn’t an aerosol. This checks both boxes.
It’s so easy to travel with, works fast, and genuinely helps me go an extra two days between washes. I also love that it comes in a dark hair version, which blends in seamlessly.
Why I’ll Never Go Back
I used to feel like great skin was something I’d never have without expensive skincare or layers of makeup. Now, I actually feel good in my bare skin, and Acure is a huge part of that.
What I love most, besides the results, is that I trust what I’m putting on my face. Every formula is vegan, cruelty-free, and free from the junk that used to throw my skin into a spiral. It’s clean skincare that actually works, and that’s something I’ll never stop sharing with my friends, my family, and yep, all of you.

If you’re on your own skin journey right now, dealing with breakouts, scars, dullness, or just decision fatigue, I hope this helps you find your go-to favorites too. Feel free to DM us anytime on Instagram (@acurebeauty). I’m usually the one replying :)
See you there!
