What are the key moisturizing and brightening ingredients in this serum?

The serum features a concentrated blend of nourishing oils, with the hero ingredients being **Argan Oil**, **Borage Oil**, and **Cranberry Seed Oil**. These oils work together to hydrate, brighten, and deliver antioxidant benefits to the skin.

Is the Brightening Glow Serum a heavy face oil or a lightweight product?

The formula is a lightweight oil that users often describe as a 'dry oil'. It is highly concentrated but absorbs easily into the skin, leaving a silky, radiant finish without a heavy, greasy feeling.

How and when should I apply the Brightening Glow Serum?

Apply a thin layer of the oil to your face and neck. It can be used both in the morning (AM) and at night (PM) as part of your regular skincare regimen, typically after cleansing and other water-based serums, and before moisturizer or sunscreen.

Is this serum suitable for oily or combination skin types?

Yes, while it is an oil blend, it is categorized as 'Good for: **All skin types**'. Its lightweight 'dry oil' nature means it absorbs quickly and can help regulate the skin's oil production, often leading to better skin clarity and tone even for those with combination or oily skin.

Will this serum help with dullness and uneven skin tone?

Absolutely. By targeting 'Dullness', the serum’s blend of antioxidant-rich oils helps to revive lackluster skin, restore moisture, and improve overall skin clarity and tone, leading to a dewy and radiant complexion.

Is the Acure Brightening Glow Serum a clean and ethical product?

Yes. This serum adheres to Acure’s standards, being certified **100% Vegan** and **Cruelty-free**. It is also free from parabens, sulfates, mineral oil, petrolatum, and formaldehyde.

Does the serum have a fragrance or scent?

The serum contains natural essential oils, such as Orange Peel Oil and Lavender Oil. This gives it a subtle, refreshing, and pleasant aroma that is not artificial or overpowering.

Can this serum be used underneath makeup?

Yes, due to its lightweight and quick-absorbing nature, the Brightening Glow Serum works great under makeup. It imparts a healthy, dewy effect that allows foundation and other products to sit smoothly on the skin.

How does the Brightening Glow Serum compare to the Brightening 2% Vitamin C & Ferulic Acid Serum?

The Brightening Glow Serum is a nutrient-rich face oil focused on moisture and glow using botanical oils. The Brightening 2% Vitamin C & Ferulic Acid Serum is a water-based treatment serum primarily focused on active Vitamin C for intense brightening and antioxidant protection. They can be used together, with the Vitamin C serum applied first.
